    Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has the original 94.26 bios for the P-6831fx they could post or send me. I'd very much appreciate it. Looked everywhere, can't find it.

Thanks for looking, though that looks like the 94.28 that I upgraded to. I would like to downgrade back to the original 94.26. If someone still has the original bios, they should be able to use the phlash16 utility to backup their bios or if someone did upgrade, it should have created a backup if they used a flash drive. Unfortunately, I used the cd iso to upgrade and it could not create a backup.

Are you having some issues? You could also upgrade higher to say the
    v94.31

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/gat...eway-fx-bios-94-31-vt-enabled-not-7811fx.html

I'm running v94.31 on my 6860FX with no issues since it's release.

If you're having issues, try clearing the CMOS data and restoring defaults. sometimes if you don't do that things can get a little funny.

You could also try calling Gateway support and see if one of their techs could email the file/data to you or something. I know in the past when I've needed a older BIOS I've contacted support (in these cases EVGA and ASUS) and was able to get any revsion of the BIOS I needed. Keep in mind though that these were self built PCs and I was contacting the motherboard company directly.
