    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out why my laptop crashes during Warhammer.
The crash is a black screen crash that requires me to hard boot the computer.
Now, I only really play one PC game (WARHAMMER) so i don't know if its just that game. I played Crysis on high settings for an hour and it didn't crash just to check.
If it is a Warhammer only problem, there's nothing i can do, but i'd like to try out anything I can.

It crashes while undervolting the cpu.
I tried letting the cpu run at full voltage... it still crashes.
I have tried 3 separate drivers. It still crashes on all 3.
I don't believe my gpu or cpus are overheating... I use HWMonitor and GPU usually stays 69-75 and has never gone above 80. The cpus dont' go above 80 When they're not undervolted.
I use a laptop cooler, i dusted out the cpu/gpu fans.
It can crash after only 10 minutes... or it can crash after playing for over an hour.
I uninstalled and re-installed the game.

So, anyone have any ideas? Once again, I seem to think it's warhammer but i'll try things out.

Were you able to play the game in the past (i.e. is this a recent issue or something you've dealt with since the beginning)

Check over the updates for the game. I know WoW players had a problem on the 8800GTS after 1 update about 15 months ago but it was soon fixed.

Have you tried to make the game use your settings in you nVidia contol panel to see if the game might be using a setting that is screwing with your card causing the crashes?

no tips etc.. from the software company, they don't like to acknowledge crashes like this.
its an mmorpg and up-to date because to even log in your version has to be up-to-date.
Yes I could play fine for the first 5 months I owned the game. Stopped playing in Feb. Just started playing again a week or so ago.

i'll try creating a profile in the nvidia control panel for the game to see if that makes it work.
