    Hi,
This morning my computer went to a grey screen.
I turned it off, and turned it back on. The media lights come on, the fan spins but nothing comes up on the screen - it stays black.

I removed the battery and tried it with just AC, tried it with just battery.
Held the powerbutton for 1min with the ac disconnected and battery out, and then put the battery back in and reconnected the power.
It booted randomly twice doing this... but it always goes back to the grey screen and most of the time this doesn't work.

I removed the RAM and tried to start it up... still got power but no boot up or screen prompt. Re-inserted ram in separate spots.

So now I'm stuck... and my computer won't start up....

Any help anyway can give me?

    Thanks,
    ~Hendel

if it boots up and the media lights come on then it's probably the gpu that is at fault.

search the forum for baking the gpu in the oven. people have had success fixing it that way.

or it might be the screen just died. try plugging in an external monitor and seeing if that works.
