Just got done installing a T9300 in my new laptop. Just wanted to check with everyone in regards to temps for the chipset. I'm using CPUID Hardware Monitor and its reporting that under ACPI, TZS0 hit a max of 47C(116F) and TZS1 hit a max of 55C(130F). Is that too hot? I think the temps might be up but I'm not a hundered percent sure.

O and I cant find a forum search button before anyone says anything.

I dont have the t9300 installed, but my ACPI numbers fluctuate so much i couldnt actally tell you what its supposed to be.

But i generally get between 35 and 55 deg on them.

not to hijack your thread or anything... but what are those things... I understand the rest of the readings but i've never heard of ACPI until i installed a temp moniter...i've always been curious

I believe it would be the motherboard and chipset temp probes. not a 100% sure though.

My ACPI temps will max at 68C. This is as hot as any of my temps on my 6831fx ever get after I burned it in with WPrime. Your temps are great. After you break in period you should see idle temps of 40 -50 for ACPI, 38 -45 CPU, and 40-45 for GPU. This laptop has a great cooling system. I never see above 68c even after several hours of Crysis.
My 1330 on the other hand needs a cooler to idle at the max temps of my Gateway. Go Figure!!!!
