I've had my P-6860FX for three weeks now, tested everything hardware-wise and all is good. However an annoying software problem has popped up, everytime I boot, come out of sleep mode, or come out of hibernation, Windows Media Center starts up and I have to close it.

It's not a huge deal but it is an annoyance, any ideas on how to stop WMC from doing this?

    Thanks!! :)

Is the hardware key that launches it, up top, stuck down by chance? If not, make sure you check with MSCONFIG, your Startup folder and in the registry in the Run section to see if it's there.

Ahh, you know, I think I may be hitting the Windows Hotstart button by mistake. And pressing that button does indeed launch WMC.

    I'll experiment with it tonight.
