    Hello everybody,

    I have a P-6860FX,
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN , Vista Driver is installed.
    Radio on.

But it says, ''Windows cannot find any networks''

We don't have any problem with the internet. For example, I am sending this message with another computer (in same Network/INternet).

We have 3 computer in the same home and Network/INternet.
1.) MacBook (Now, I am sending this message with this computer)
2.) Dell desktop (with Zoom adapter)
these 2 computer don't have any problem with connecting to internet. But P-6860FX :S

I tried Vista 64, Vista32 also both correct driver I installed. But still it says, Windows cannot find any networks.

Do you have same problem with your P-6860FX?

    Thanks.

    The router very close already.

Also, I tried directly connect with ETHERNET cable (RJ45). And this time, it says, Limited Activity. :S I have no firewall, no anti virus prg., no nothing. But it says, limited :S

Did you by accident turn the wifi button off?
If not, try reinstalling the drivers

Make sure the Wireless switch on the lower, right-hand side of your laptop is at the "On" position.

at the start 'orb' if you are using the 'vista' style start menu, type services.msc in the search box, click on it, and look for the WLAN auto config service. if its stopped, you wont find any wireless networks. if its disabled, or set to manual, you'll have to do that every time you want to connect to a wireless network, so if you frequently connect to the 'net wirelessly, just set the service to automatic.

Find the wireless adapter in "device manager", make sure its ENABLED and that your system wont allow the adapter to be turned off when power-saving.

No problem. You seemed to know what you were doing so I figured you just missed something obvious.

I have the P-7811FX and my wireless suddenly stopped working as well.

After reformating... ugh... still didn't work, searched around and found this FN+F2 while using gfs pc. Now it works, and I feel like a retard.

    Thanks guys :)

Dude, I started an account just to thank you, I was going through every little thing to fix this and I'm a fairly computer savy guy. Why does it always have to be the most obvious thing every time? Must have bumped it when I hit FN+F3 to put it to sleep lol.

Anyway thanks a million, and those clowns at gateway wanted me to pay them to fix the problem, pfft!
