    Hello,

I've recently got a new CPU for my P-6860fx laptop. When I was disassembling
it I've accidently striped the top of one of the screws that holds down the CPU
heat sync. Where can I get a hold of one of these screws?

I've contacted Gateway and they say its out of warranty and won't assist me
    with the problem.

Take the screw with you to Radio Shack or some electronics store in your area. You should be able to find its replacement there. Good luck.

I did the same thing, I've been using one of the screws from the wifi card. It's a bit shorter but it does the trick ;D
