I'm sure it's been said before but Newegg has the P-7801u for $1199 with free 3 day shipping. It is the same as the P-7805u but has the higher resolution. At this price it is 50 dollars cheaper than the laptop at Best Buy if you take into account sales tax and even cheaper if you were to order it online with shipping costs.

I just purchased this laptop along with the OGIO Urboe laptop backpack in brown.

Wish me luck that the bag will fit the laptop in it. According to the reviews it should. I will post more info on said bag when I get it and the laptop. *crosses fingers* Even if not ebags has a great return policy.

When I get the Gateway and do a clean install of Ultimate 64bit is there anything I need to be aware of and watch out for? Thanks in advance.

On the subject of bags, does anyone know if the lining of the usual Targus bags will scratch the finish of this computer?

I've got the Targus City Gear backpack and it hasn't scratched my 7805u.

Ditto with the 7805u. Extremely pleased with the bag so far. My only possible complaint would be that the bag may be an inch or two too large but thats really insignificant. Also they could of done a better job with the buckle because it doesn't buckle as snuggly as I expected it to. This glorious nonstop rain in California has shown me that there are two large openings in two upper corners of the targus bag where rain can fall directly into my laptop due to the loose buckle design.
