Does the 7801u overheat as bad as the 7811? Since it does have such a powerful video card in a smaller chasis compared to toshiba qosmio and other computers....

off topic: whats the battery life of the 7801u?

No idea really. But actually it will probably have a slightly less powerful vid card than the 7811 did, due to the fact that it cant access the 1gb of vRAM with out sacrificing other sections of the card because of its limited bandwidth.

I would expect a bit hotter temps than the 7811, but i doubt it would be comething monsterous. Probably 4ish degrees

As to battery life... probably about the same

since we have no users that posted 7801 info, its all speculations.
    (did i miss anything?)

i would dare say the 7801 gpu should run cooler as it is supposedly a die shrunk 55nm opposed to the 7811 65nm gpu.

it is almost sure it will not oc as good as 512mb 7811gpu, however performance at stock clocks should be very close if not identical.

    no facts stated.

Pure speculation, but I agree with royk50, that it should be better on heat and get the same performance at same clock rates. No one who owns a 7801u has posted here yet, but we understand at least one person has one on order.
