I looked up the specs for the 7802, and it has a q9000. Cant tell how much different the heat sink is, but at least now we have a part number (sticker on fins).

Opened up my 7811 today, and that looks exactly the same.

The problem, however, is getting a BIOS that supports it. If I recall from another thread, someone got their hands on a new BIOS (.17 if I recall) which supposodly support quad core. The computer didn't boot with the quad core installed.
This could have just been that the bios (which was in testing) didn't actually support a quad core, or that it just won't work for us non-quad people.

I personally am hoping it was just the bios and we will be able to have quad cores once it comes out. I am really looking forward to getting a at least a q9100. (2.26 ghz, basically twice the amount of cpu we have now)

My thoughts are that HS is really a non issue... getting a quad to post is what needs to happen before careing about anything else...
