what was wrong with the first system, that you needed a replacement sent out? did they offer to give you your money back since it was bad and on the page with laptop it says they offer 30 day gurantee? i just purchased one and am keeping fingers crossed the refurb is like new, i just bought a month ago a dv7-1262 hp laptop with a 9600m gt ddr2 vid card and blu ray drive that didnt work great. and am hoping to replace it with this and sell the hp.. although i got the hp system tweaked out and optimized and have had zero issues with it accept for the blu ray drive doing funny stuff..
this is funny, on the front page for the gateway notebook from the link in this thread they advertise 30 day iron clad gurantee meaning you can return for any reason the laptop and get full refund if not satisfied... then when i placed my order and payed for it, on the my account order information for order and item it says NON RETURNABLE as a link you click it and it says you cannot return the laptop to tiger direct..
what kind of crap is that.. I could see if it was a brand new laptop out of the box, but CANT return a refurbished unit that could be completely destroyed in the box but yet you cant return it, so i emailed them telling tiger direct to clarify, becuz if i cant return a refurbed laptop for whatever reason there is no reason for me to accept delivery then they will have to give me my money back..
crazy crap over a refurbed laptop that alot of ppl are having issues with when ordered from tiger direct.. BEWARE!!
