    Hello,

I recently purchased this notebook through a local computer shop.

Its a great machine and very fast. However I wanted to check the BIOS for RAID Features due to the fact that it holds 2 SATA Hard drives.

I rebooted the computer and Pressed F2 to access bios and was presented with a password prompt. I dont know that password and the owners at the shop did not know it existed.

I have talked with gateway support online and found out that the notebook is still under warranty and was never registered. So, I registered it in my name.

I do know quite a bit about computers so I tried to remove this from previous knowledge.

None of the above were successful.

Does anyone have an idea how I can remove this? I am still able to boot into OS.
