So Iv been searching around for a replacement battery for my FX well not really a replacement just somthing incase I go on a 5 hour road trip which isnt very rare for me and I just cant find them perhaps I dont know what to search for because when I type SQU-720 which is the batteries model number from gateway I get 1 acctual result of which I can buy from but its an ebay result Id rather get it from a real retailer if possible.

Edit: I guess I should say this I also messed up when taking my battery out tonight and when I look at the connectors it likes the plastic around them on two of them is chipped a bit, I put the battery back to see if it would explode or do anything funny(I put it in pressed the power button then ran away) nothing happened started up as normal infact the damage I cause isnt that big but I was wondering if I should bother the guys at bestbuy and get a replacement I think I got my laptop 2 weeks ago so I think I could be able to get a replacement

Really what my question is after the stupidity subsided, does having this tiny damage increase my risk of having it blow up on my lap? Should I provide a picture of my failiure as a good pc user?
