Hey, I have the P-7805u (refurbished laptop). (MIGHT BE THE 7811FX)

    Here are my specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 64Bit
    17" LCD
    Core2Duo P8400
    4GB DDR3
    Geforce 9800M GTS 1GB DDR3
    320GB HDD

My Cpu and hdd are ok, but sometimes when playing games like Crysis, Hitman Blood Money, etc, my gpu reaches temperatures of 100 degrees celcius or even higher (90-103), causes crash and artifacts.

Where can i get a modded bios because what I need to do is modify the fan speed that is blowing the gpu.

I've tried everything, and every software but I can't do it, so I need to modify the bios, where can I find one to change the dreaded phoenix bios? :(

    - By the way, ive already tried rivatuner, speedfan, ntune, nvidia control panel, nhc, and many others. I've also applied thermal paste with only minimal results.

as far as i am aware, you cant mod the bios. You can only update. Having said that, even the latest bios iteration (9c17) still suffers from GPU fan pulsing. Fan speeds are "hardwired" to bios.

If it has 1GB of vram, it's a 7805. Do you have a cooling pad? Aside from undervolting, which probably won't help the GPU too much, there are not really very many software solutions to a heat problem.

Edit: And if your temps are above 60C, your fan should be going full speed anyway.
