    I found a P-7805u on craigs list for 150 bucks well he wanted 400 but im a haggeler and i talked him down so he says it runs great in safe mode but it crashes when he does stuff like high performance games and youtube in regular mode. Is this a fixable issues . I was just wondering he doesnt sound very tech savey so he doesnt know whats going on. Please give me your advice!

    For $150 I'd buy it. I'd only like to pay around $100-$125, but $150 is decent. If you don't get it, it wouldn't happen to be in Alabama is it?

    For $150 you might want to get it, if the GPU is bad and you can't find a cheap motherboard, you could just part it out.
    I bet you could make $150 back after selling the CPU, RAM, HDD and other parts.

    got it fixed it had a currupt video driver YAY!

    If you dont' mind me asking, what video driver did you upgrade to? These laptops are notorious for having the video chipset cause problems while watching movies/gaming. The cheap one I bought to recover the BIOS on won't even boot with the proper nvidia drivers for the video chipset. Works fine with standard vga driver, but that is only a temp fix as it won't do half of what it should that way.
