    P-7805u Sound Problem

    First off, i have vista. I'd been having problems getting my hdmi cable and tv to connect to my computer. The picture shows up but the sound never goes through the cable and to the tv for some reason. probably drivers. Anyway, In a moment of unthinking, I went to my control panel, clicked on sounds, then went to my conexant smartaudio 221 speakers and disabled them, hoping the sound would then be forced to go to my hdmi. The only problem (besides that not working) is now my computer 'forgets' that i have speakers, and I don't have sound anymore. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

    If it helps, It shows up under device manager, but not under playback devices. idk how to get it to show up there.
