According to the gateway site it has:
    4096MB 1066MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Memory (2-2048MB modules)

    My couple questions are:
Is the max amount of ram physically allowed 4GB?
Is it worthwhile to get 1333MHz DDR3?
Could I possibly get any better RAM than what is factory?

    Thanks!

    1) The chipsets max is 8GB, Gateway says 4GB max though, but nobody has been willing to fork out close to a grand for RAM that they wouldn't even use.

    2) I believe if you got 1333Mhz RAM it would be auto-downclocked because of the FSB (Someone confirm this). So in other words, 1333Mhz would be useless.

    3) I'm sure theres more high-end "Brands" you could get, but don't expect noticeable differences just by changing the brand.
