    is there a way i can check to see if my fans are working or not?

    i think i have bad ones


    also at what temp are fans supposed to kick in?

    the easiest way is to listen for them. you should hear the rush of air. you should also be able to feel the warm air coming out the air vent(s). Thermofan is a little program that'll monitor your fan speeds, and it works for most laptops, so you could give that a try as well.

    Is there a way to set the fan speed to a certain level? I think mine doesnt always kick on when it should to keep my GPU/CPU cool.

    I am wondering the same thing... unfortunately all my temp monitors don't have a fan adjustment option when they should... I think it's hardwired in the gateways and unchangeable by software.
