Ok so I bought a new scorpio blue for my P-7805u and I was wondering, when I install this on my laptop, using the recovery discs that I made, will I be able to make a new recovery partition on my new hardisk? Or will it be gone forever? :( Thanks in advance for your kind inputs :)

The recovery disks will partition and install vista and apps for you. If you do a clean install then you will need vista key and you will not have the recovery partition which includes vista key and other apps. The recovery disks are made from your gateway.
