Hello guys, been a little while since I've last posted :p

Anyway, I have been having some issues over the last few days, it started with vista loading -REALLY- slowly, this happened all-of-a-sudden, so I suspected my RAID was at fault. I backed up what I could, broke the raid up using the ctrl-i command and changing the settings. I installed Windows 7 out of curiosity and now I get 'Disk Error, press any key to reboot' when I try to load the fresh install. If I try to install 7 again, I get an error saying it's not a bootable disk.

I tried entering the bios, and this is where the fun begins. I get a single beep (like what you get when you hammer keys during bios boot) and never loads to bios after hitting F2.

Any ideas? I'm hitting a brick wall here :(

Yes I did, it works. It's just so frustrating to not be able to enter the bios :(

Correct, just get a beep and the laptop continues as if nothing had happened.

I'm not sure what you said here?

Maybe you are not reading Tanware correctly. My F2 does not work for BIOS access either. But F10, which is the muli-boot screen, offers an option on the bottom to get into the bios. It says "enter setup." That is how I have to access the bios.

F2 just beeps, f10 opens the 'boot from' dialogue.

F10 opens the boot from dialog but there is also an option there to get to bios............
