    I get that. Not sure why or when this started. But since I can't find drivers it makes it hard to get it back up and running. I think windows corrupted the drivers.

    To Repair this you have to delete the upper and lower filters of the CD/DVD Rom in the registry... maybe by the time i get the instructions as to where its located maybe someone else will be able to tell you.
