    P-7811 FX Speakers humming static sound

    Hey everyone, I recently purchased a P-7811 FX laptop and everything works great except for the static and humming sound that the speakers make. In my first 7811 the left speaker was humming and it was really annoying, so i exchanged it for a brand new one.

    Now the second one also has the static sound that was in the first one except that it is coming from the right speaker instead of the left speaker.

    Is anyone else having this issue or is this just how the speakers are made?

    try reinstalling the drivers. Does it only happen during a certain app or all the time?

    It sounds like some sort of interference. Is there any cell phones or wireless devices nearby?

    It sounds fine most of the time, but when a loud sound is outputted from the speaker, it feels as if something is vibrating which is causing sound distortion. I went to best buy today and checked their floor model and the same sound is coming out of their model as well.

    I don't know whether i sound exchange this laptop again and try once more, but before I do that I have just one request from anyone who has a P-7811 FX. Please do this so I know if this is just standard in a unit:

    1) Turn up your volume to Maximum
    2) Then Right Click The sound Icon towards the bottom right hand corner
    3) Then Select Playback Devices
    4) Right Click on speakers and Select Test
    5) Then listen carefully to each speaker to determine if your computer is humming after loud sounds like mine is.

    Please can anyone who has a P-7811 FX try this and let me know if you hear any vibration of any sort from your speakers. Thanks
