Long story short, in the process of dissasembling my 7811 for kicks, I ended up screwing back the front power panel (the one with the volume control and media buttons) with a screw too long. Result: A half inch dent protruding from the top right of the power button.

Is there ANY site I can find a replacement panel? All I found was http://www.excelcomputerinc.com/partpicture_EX.asp?ref=2573&category=misc , which looks FINE except for the extra button and wrong color.

I need some sort of replacement...I am experiencing various lockup issues and need to have this beast taken back to gateway for repairs, and a dent would obviously show that I tampered with it. Help!

Heh, hopefully they wont be able to determine that my real name was Phillip Jackson just by my username, otherwise I'd be in BIG trouble!

Thanks for the website, now lets see if I can find a BT board that will work in my 7811.

I've been having all sorts of heat problems with this thing, even after blowing 70$ on a Zalman cooler it still reaches about 211F when doing even the most modest 3d tasks...sounds like a bad fan, I know, but is there any way I can smooth talk BB into giving me a replacement even though its past the allowed 2 weeks?

My power button doesn't work anymore, some people were saying something about the foil inside needs to be right but i'm not sure what they mean.
