Hey I am in the market for a laptop and this one looks great I have read thru alot of the posts here and am aware of a the issues. I would like this to be a laptop to last 2 or 3 yrs. I travel alot with work so I game on the road. I play AoC, Warhammer, Mass Effect and TF2 alot. Just for reference. I am concerned about the CPU am I nuts. Shouldnt this machine have at least a 2.4 to 2.6 Mhz processor to be more future proof. I was told long ago that the bigger CPU the better long term, Does this still hold true?????

PS Was looking at a G50 but I would really like a 17 screen as my eyes arent what they once were :D

PPS Can you add bluetooth to this unit???

You can change it later if you think it's necessary in future as it will be cheaper. If this one is good for your needs, don't bother about it.

If you want to install a bluetooth dongle, just buy the micro one like at Newegg for $20 bucks or go on Ebay for cheaper.

I believe this machine is derived from the Clevo M570TU, which can come as a barebones laptop. as such, it _should_ be upgradable to any other Centrino 2 [Socket P] CPU. The M570TU from a independent retailer & builder will be $1800-1900 similarly equipped top the P-7811 (rk computers, r&j tech, pro-line, etc.)

While some people claim this laptop to be good for games, my game of choice is doesn't perform at the same level as my former desktop with 2G DDR2(800MHz) RAM, AMD Athlon X2 6000+ (3GHz), and a 8800GTS(old 320MB version, slight factory overclock from EVGA). Both ran XP 32bit.
