My Laptop has this really annoying problem where the screen clicks off, and if there was sound it continues for a second or so and then just repeats the same note over and over. From there the only thing I can do is restart the computer. I noticed this problem first when I went to windows 7, and since then I have switched back to vista and still no luck, though the GPU temp is significantly lower. It mostly happens during games, which would lead me to think it was the heat issue, but it does it with the GPU at 60degrees celsius and lower, the CPU doesn't usually go above 35degrees celsius. I've run through many different video drivers, and done generally everything I could think of, including taking apart the laptop and blowing the dust out of every corner. I'm tempted to think there is some kind of power problem as it seems to happen more frequently when I have devices that draw usb power plugged in.

Anyway, I've done all I know to do and I'm hoping someone on these forums has some ideas. I've searched across various forums and I can't seem to find anything thats quite the same as my problem, but maybe I missed it so if anyone has seen a solution to this please let me know.

    Thanks
