This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     P-7901h no audio problem

    I have no audio. The speaker icon has a red circle with an x in it. When I open the Volume Mixer it says no audio device is installed. The Sound, Video and game controllers says High Definition Audio Device is installed and the device is working properly.
    I have downloaded audio file drivers from the gateway site but still no luck.
    Any help would be really appreciated.
