Hehehe... Well, Gateway themselves only ship to US. Other than US, only Canada BestBuys had it for a while.

Right now, only americans have access to it. Chances of you getting it directly is pretty slim...

You can try freight forwarders, ebays, or Snowsurfers. =P

You can pretty much guarantee then that if there was a warranty issue, you would have to reship it to the US to whoever bought it for you and then have it shipped back, all off your own back. Gateway's australian site is a joke... they have been in the game since laptops were first invented, rather slack.

Glad to see people helping others around the globe but keep in mind out of country shipping is not cheap. I just mailed my dreamcast bundle that weighs about uh 15 pounds to a guy in Canada (from US), the total shipping with duty fees is roughly 80 dollars US. So better have snowsurfer check out the laptop before shipping it over because back and forth will add up to a cpu you could've bought.

To be honest, the only way of getting this laptop is by getting someone to buy it for you. Which, quite frankly, I'm sure anyone one of us would do it if we were compensated for our time. However, the monetary risk will be all yours, since none of us are going to open our own wallets to buy the laptop and ship first. It pretty much means you have to get someone you trust, pay them the money, and hope for the best.

Jeez you're horrible at naming companies. Should be:
