    P6860 OS or restore disks

    I am looking at buying this possibly from bestbuy but would like to know if this package comes with restore disks or the real os disks? I really would like to do a complete reformat with the original os disks to clean it up if I get it.

    I've serviced several of these units, and the disks that come with them, from what I can remember, are labeled as "Operating System Restore Disks - 32-bit and 64-bit," which leads me to believe it's an exact copy of how the system came from the factory.

    However, I've seen a few of these units new out of box, and they don't come with much bloatware on them, just fyi.

    it comes with an Operating System restore disc, which in fact, is JUST the operating system. no bloatware.

    for the driver and application restore disc (recommended) you have to create it yourself. thats where the bloatware is, but you dont have to install it.
