    Is there any way (such as third party software) I can activate a low light boost on my built in camera. Unfortunately, my camera goes black when I "don't have enough light" and my light is extremely bright in my room. PURCHASING ANOTHER WEBCAM IS NOT AN OPTION RIGHT NOW (Improperly funded).

    Could trying to turn up the brightness settings help at all?

    it is not so much that the room is bright, but light must be concentrated on the subject/object itself for many of internal webcam to work. Try pointing the light source to the subject/object in question and see
