I would like to know if anyone can tell me the power consumption of the P6860FX when idle, gaming, and browsing when plugged in. I think I ran up my power bill by a hundred dollars just by browsing the internet and light gaming (aka Maplestory [yea I know, im a little old to play that but i play when im bored]). If someone has a Kw/H monitor and has this notebook (or a P6831FX), please tell me, that way I can get an estimate. I am starting to regret my purchase due to the power consumption.

your kidding right?
The most it can pull off a stock powerblock is 120watts
120 watts = .12KW
.12KW x 24 hours = 2.88 KW hours
2.88 KW hours x 30 days = 86.4 KW hours
Thats the theoritical maximum power you could ever use with it running at full power 24 hours a day for 30 days straight.
Assuming you pay more than the highest national average for power (assume 24cents per kw hour) you could have only increased your power bill by
(drum roll please)
$20.73
Look into changing your AC filters and how hot it is vs the temp you keep the residence... thats the biggest increases in power this tim of year -
