So my motherboard is fully fried and beyond repair. Now that my replacement laptop is on its way, was thinking of throwing it on ebay to see what I can get.

I believe the screen is/was 1920x1080. Is there anyway I can confirm this visually?

if high res it was 1920x1200, the proper screen though was 1440x900. Without having a bootable system you would have to pull it appart and get the part numbers

All P7805's were marked 1440x900 to begin with. Some early models had 1920x1200 installed in error. this is to what the OP refers...............

I bought mine the first week it came out and was lucky enough to get a 1920x1200 screen. There was a tread way back when that showed serial numbers that may have the better screens.

Get a real bright light and count the actual pixels. LOL. Or, just take the housing apart and get the part #. That would be my advice.
