    P7811-FX 2nd hard drive

    I installed a second hard drive in my 7811. vista home premium 64bit does not see it, my computer, device manager, disk manager. None of these locations see it. Help anyone? Thank you in advance.

    Did you google 'computer does not see second drive'

    Right click my computer, and go to manage. Then in "disk management" initiate the drive (or whatever the procedure is called). Until this is done, you will not see the drive elsewhere. Now you can format, etc.

    LOL I guess the term is "initialize" but hey, I was close.
