    P7811FX Vista 64 Game Freeze Fix

    This is for only 64 users who have the following problem:

    With all external devices unplugged, The conexant Audio card disabled, having ANY GAME Hang Up the Laptop to point of Hard Reboot.

    If you are crashing, then make sure to first disable all uneccesary devices first:
    USB Hubs
    Camera
    Audio
    etc.

    If you still get a HANG UP (And hang up only) this is the fix for it.

    You must install the new DirectX 10.1 which is in the new Windows 7.

    It is supposed to be in one of the Platform updates, but some systems for some reason did not automatically update with the DirectX. This was my fix. I am able to at least RUN games now. Hope this helps you
