14-days into my purchase, I have a stuck pixel. I have another notebook being held at my store for exchange out.

But, I have a question... if you had a chance to change your mind, considering the issues we've been having with this notebook, would you get another brand? I'm really considering it.

    I'm thinking of these two...

    and

    Which one would you get?

The dv7-1175nr is going to be $1000 next week, so if you got it, price adjust next week. $250 cheaper than the gateway, possibly more reliable. Won't come close to the gaming capabilities though.

I stay stick with the Gateway, but that's just me. I had an HP once. Didn't like it too much. Ended up selling it in less than a year. Don't see that happening with the Gateway :)

if we ever run a survey on this forum, well find out that 90% of gateway buyers were dell users.
gateway p7811fx tends to cause all kinds of problems for HP users.
