    Hi,
    I purchased the P78 Bluetooth module, a broadcom card. It works fine with the new P79 board, just rememeber to press FN+F6........... :)

    Edit;
    Oh forgot to mention, you don't have to do a full tare down either, all screws on the bottom including the one in the drive bay and under the battery, pull the media bar, keyboard and screws under it, pop the front of the top panel and put in the new module.

    I probably removed more screws than need be but that is ok.

    I just got my Logitech V470. Ordered 4/1 with free super saver shipping and here today from Amazon. Great to free up the one USB port. It goes to sleep a bit fast but I can live with that......................

    How is the response from that Mouse? Any lag from the time you move it to the time the mouse pointer moves? Or does it act just like a wireless USB mouse?

    while active not bad, it is a tad bit jerkier moving accross screen. I am sure this is the BT polling rate but it does move with me. If idle, as in just typing this responce, it seems to go to sleep. when I move the mouse there is a split second delay then the mouse pointer jumps to where I was moving it too.

    This seems to be common with all BT mice. personally I would have liked to see a user setting to allow the user to adjust this..............

    Edit, for polling rates in the pointers option if you select "Enhance pointer precision" the mouse smooths out a bit. Doesn't help the sleep issue though.............

    Edit2; if you enable "Game settings" under setpoint it seems to slow the speedy sleep mode. I did not tell it though to detect shen a game is loaded, have to play with it a bit.

    OK thanks for the reply. I will probably stick with my logitech wireless USB mouse for now. I plug the mouse dongle in a USB hub and that seems to work just fine.

    Do you have to hit Fn+F6 every time you boot to get the BT going? With my P7805 I have to turn on the BT as the first thing after booting otherwise my Dell BT mouse won't work -- the computer will "see" the mouse but will not respond to any mouse movements or clicks until I reinstall the mouse.

    I'm getting quite annoyed with mine because of this and may go back to a corded USB mouse.

    works fine after reboot. this could be setting too. I have mine where the hardware can not be put to sleep in device manager and in the BT manager I've elected let devices find my computer. Although I'd never noticed an issue before that either.

    Still using an old school Logitech MX900 here. Have had really good luck with it and dread the day when it gives up the ghost. It is always on, so I have to charge it after about 3 days of use.

    I've been using a Toshiba MOBT90UO bluetooth mouse for a few years. No delay that I have seen. Apparently, this same mouse is sold by IBM and Targus under their own brands.

    I use the Logitec mini wireless mouse from Costco. Batteries lasts about 10-12 months. The usb receiver sticks out about 3/8 of an inch.
