I was just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to upgrade the P7908u to a 1920x1200 screen. I know some of the older p7805u had the WUXA or whatever its called with that resolution.

Corporall Clegg said that Gateway replied that the converter would be incompatible, but whether that is true or not is yet to be determined. The chassis is the same, and I believe the monitor will be the exact same model, it would make logical/economic sense for Gateway to do this. What I would do is buy the screen from a vendor that allows for returns/etc and is lenient and try to install it, if it doesn't work just return it and continue using your original monitor.
