Nothing on my end yet. I've sent 3 emails now and i havent gotten a response from any of them. Not even an automated bot telling me to **** off or anything.

Some one else might want to try though and get better luck.

Maybe someone that actually is a student that could list a college ID or something might have better luck. As it is i havent been in uni for about 9 years so i honestly dont remember any of the details about my stay there (memory loss to booze not withstanding)

only boost i've found was to set the timing latency low and memset will actually allow u to change it i found the top at 5 then 4 4 4 and 8 no issues worked well.... the PLL is weird like ICH not supported by many overclocking programs yet but there has to be a way with the x9000 we should be able to run it at 3.6 as dell goes 3.4 and the x9000 runs so cool that on a aopen desktop board that people use mobile cpus like the x9000 they can hit 4.0ghz with virtually very little voltage change to 1.4 from 1.3 that it runs at 2.9

Well they have the PDF on their website of all the info that is probably needed to overclock:

    http://www.spectralinear.com/download.php?file=pdfs/web%20datasheets/CY28549.pdf

How did you find out that the Gateway uses this though? I'm just asking because all the programmers of the overclocking programs ask for the PLL number on the motherboard... so what are all these numbers from spectra linear?

Well after finally speaking to intel about the limitation of the fsb for the intel 965m(@ 1-916-377-7000) they told me spectralinear configures the plls for most companies so then i refined my research and found that link. According to intel if manufactures were willing they could provide support for the quad qx9300 since the motherboard on the p-6831fx can indeed support a 1066mghz BUS so that is the same reason why intel has the new qx9300 listed being supported by intel 965m. Even though it would be useless since bios won't support the cpu due to gateway not willing to provide the new bios
