So I want to purchase the 7811fx from Best Buy but doesn't have an option for in store pick up....yet  . So my question is: would it be faster to 1) wait for it to come out at the store and go buy it? Or 2) order it online and have it shipped to my house? The only problem with number 1 is I need this computer ASAP, I can't be dealing with 7811fx being sold out. Problem is with number 2 I don't know how long Best Buy takes to ship stuff, could be quicker just to drive to the store. Any help is always appreciated :)

ps- I am going to get the 3 year accidental, is that a good idea? I'll be in college btw :)

Well if (bwhexon's ) info is correct that stores will be carrying them on the 17th of this month for sale your best bet would be to get there that morning to make sure you get one asap . Ordering online may not get it to you fast enough . 3 year accidental would be the way to go if your going to college stuff happens good to be protected and if you break it beyond repair they replace it.

Couldn't you order one online for pickup in-store?

Of course. Don't forget you're shelling possibly half or less of what you paid for the M15X.

Plus, we are way cooler than the AW forum.

i would say go with the 3 year accidental. considering you would be bringing this thing around in classrrooms and everywhere you go. and getting accidental coverage is a must as a college student.unless you want to leave this at home and make it as a desktop replacement. other thing is that accidental coverage gives a "plus" if you ever wanna sell thing thing down the road.

yah you could and if u get lucky, one of the employees can "reserve" u one in case these things sell like hotcakes.

No stores have the laptop in stock yet and as far as I know most haven't even put in a order to get them yet, at least not for this week. Though there should be a local bestbuy add by the 16th. As for pick up or delivery, I would wait till the 17th and do a pickup.

I'm curious, how much extra does an accidental damage warranty cost?

And what's this about a sale on the 17th? :)

The 3 year accidental costs $380, I'll need it since I'm going into college.
