Without creating a recovery disk I installed Vista 32 bit on my brand new laptop. I installed few drivers from Gateway site. But "ins" and "prtsc" button do not work. How do I fix this? does anyone have similar problem?. I cannot take screenshot by pressing shift + prtscr. Gateway support does not help me because I do not have their "Gateway restore software" on the laptop. Can someone send me a application recovery disk for the laptop? I will pay shipping and handling charges. Please help.
Also what is the right arrow button to the left of DVD control is for? I cant figure out. Thanks guys.

try pressing FN+PRTSC to take a screenshot.

and i believe the arrow is for windows media center (by default, at least)

First of all, all your apps and drivers are already on your D partition, assuming you didnt delete it.

Follow the directions in this thread to install Gateway Recovery Center from which you can access your apps and stuff (the directions are not tested on a M-6862 but most likely will work but remember always follow at your own risk)

Secondly, diablo is right. Its not shift + prtsc. Its fn + prtsc.

Lastly, in order to use that right arrow, you need to install the HotStart App
(I think its under apps but may be under driver not sure). You need to installer GRC for that.
