    Hi all,

I am working with a sales advisor to try to negotiate a good deal for an NX570X. Including shipping/handling ($20) and taxes ($88.29), I am being quoted $1396.28. I wanted to stay around $1300 for my budget. Here are the specs:

    - Gateway NX570X
    - Windows Vista Home Premium
    - Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 4MB L2 Cache)
    - 2 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
    - 80GB 5400 rpm HDD
    - 8x Multiformat Double Layer DVD Writer (DVD+/-R/+/-RW/CD-RW)
    - 15.4 WSXGA+ TFT screen (1680x1050 max resolution)
    - ATI Mobility Radeon 128 MB Graphics, 945PM Chipset
    - 8-Cell Lithium Battery
    - Integrated wireless (a/b/g)
    - Bluetooth Wireless Networking Module w/ Intel WLAN Bluetooth Cabling
    - 6-in-1 media card reader
    - 1 year value plan (Tech Support - Parts - Factory Labor) Warranty

Now, if I remove the Bluetooth, I can get it down to $1350

If I upgrade to Vista Ultimate and a 120 GB HDD, it is only $100 more ($1499)

Are any of these good deals? Should I try to negotiate some more?

    Thanks.
