    As above, anyone successful with installation of DDR2-800 speed and above rams or has some info, pls post here.

    I know they fit in there but I believe they will still run at 667 MHz..

    Why yes... yes you can. I've done it and its a waste of money. You down clock to 667mHz. You do gain faster timings (usually 4-4-4-12) but unless you transfer millions of 1 byte files from your ram to your CPU you will never see a benefit from the "upgrade" and will be out money for nothing.

    Saving your money to buy a sticker for your laptop lid will give you the same preformance upgrade (i.e. none)
