    Power Size Screws and Screw Driver to use...

    When adding in a new harddrive to the p7805u?

    to make sure you dont strip the screws. Do I call gateway to get screws? Please LMK!

    Why bother? You don't need to secure the harddrive with all 4 screws, just steal 2 screws from the existing harddrive. I just put them on opposite corners.

    You just need a bit with a very small tip meant for tiny screws. I don't even use an entire screwdriver when i change hard drives. I just hold the bit in my hand and turn, the screws should not be tight enough that you need an actual screwdriver in your hand. The tip just needs to be small enough to get contact on all 4 sides of the screw and it will loosen and tighten easily. If you start tightening it too much, you WILL strip the screws.

    And yes 2 tiny screws 1 on each opposite corner of the drive works fine.
