I just received my 171S FX notebook today and I had one question for all the other people who have this notebook or one similar. Is the power connector supposed to stick out a little? Thanks in advance.

Well I know on my P-6831FX it is almost completely flush when I plug it into the back of the laptop. There is maybe a little of the tip that may appear to be sticking out if you look at it very closely but I have not had any problems with it charging the battery so this must not be a problem.

I don't have much of a problem keeping power to the notebook but it does kind of worry me that if I move the plug a little the notebook goes to battery then back to AC power. I may have to contact support on this. I know it isn't a huge deal but it could become a big deal in the future.

Yes your absolutely correct it could be a lose connector there if you just slightly move it and it goes back to battery. I read a few posts on this forum where a few people also had this problem and the power connector was loose.
