    Power problem with a NV53A82U

    Hi all!

    I don't have that much experience with gateway laptops, but I have a friend that has a NV53A82U that is having a power down issue. When you initially start it up it will take 2-3 times if it is on battery power to get into windows, the other times you press the power button it posts, gets to the boot loader screen(5-6 seconds total run time) and then shuts all the way down. If it is plugged into AC(with or without battery) it takes 10-15 times to get it to start. After it starts it runs any where from 20 minutes to three hours the just powers off. I can't see anything wrong on the MB I have updated everything tried all kinds of different things, does anyone have any ideas? I tried swapping ram etc already. She is on a fixed income so I am doing this for free but she needs a computer so I don't want to just order a MB and swap it and that not be it.
