My grandfather recently came to the United States from Brasil, and he decided he wanted to buy a notebook. He went to best buy and ended up buying a MT6750 with vista, the computer is pretty good, but theres a slight problem that we asked for it to be put into Portuguese.
They managed to put the time and currency and everything in to Portuguse but the menu and all the icons are still in English. We tried changing the language setting to "Brazil" but the icons remain in English. I was wondering if theres any way to change this or if we're going to have to return the computer... Is there a new driver or something that has to be downloaded from Vista?

You may need to set/install the language under control panels you'll see the regional and language options - under the languages tab - you might need to download the Portuguese fonts/pack from Microsoft

ps. this is for windoze xp and not for vista but it should be in the same area.

pps. You should be covered by gateways warranty - check with them as well.
