I really hope that you can help me... I have a problem with my 7811FX, it happened now 2 times, i was working in Word and listening to music when my 7811 completely shut down, there was a blue screen which said, that there is a problem with a hard- or software thing....

Can anybody help? Did anybody else have similair problems?

Were you on battery at the time? Are you on the stock drivers? My 7811 BSOD'ed on me under battery and stock video drivers because of a power management problem. After that, the video driver would just crap out about every 30 minutes or so and get recovered. I changed to the 176 drivers and haven't had the problem since.

If it says "Problem Event Name: BlueScreen" I'm going to have to say its malware. I don't think Microsoft names any of their Error Events "BlueScreen" I could be wrong tho

I cracked this one for the 7811-FX

Some of the default power profiles have the PCI Express Link State Power Management turned on to Maximum Power Savings...

This isn't a really good idea with a graphics card of this caliber. When I turned it off, the blue screens vanish (I played Fallout 3 for about 2 hours last night).

    Cheers!
