So about a week ago I bought starcraft 2, installed it and started to play it then out of no where the screen freezes and turns black for like 4 seconds and then my desktop pops up with a not saying one of your drivers has crashed.

so I figured my p-7805u can't handle SC2 so I uninstalled it and whatever but now when I try to play my lower-end games (which used to run perfectly fine) it like, glitches not. Like it's not as smooth as it was. Still playable but not enjoyable. The game is heroes of newerth btw.

Whats wrong with my notebook and is there anyway to fix it??

We need to know a few things about the system.

    1.) what driver version?
2.) do you over clock the video or CPU?
    3.) is the system stock?
4.) what OS are you now using?
5.) have you ever cleaned out the vents?

these are a few to start with...............

ok with 5 being no you have to clean them. go to the stores and buy a few cans of comressed air. use them to blow into the CPU and GPU side outlets. You should be able to blow a considerable amount of dust out. If they do not blow out you may have to go to the dissassembly guide and fully clean the system.

Before pulling the system appart be sure under load the fans do run for the GPU and CPU where required under heat load that warm/hot air does flow

from the sides (left and rear) and then underneath as well. you want it cleaned out as much as possible. Also you should regularly do this as well. improper maintenance and allow overheating will shorten the life of the system. You should monitor temps, if you have aloowed it to go on too long overheating he improper maintenace could have already destroyed the systems capabilities................

gah! so i was blowing the dust out of my fans and i noticed a huge clump of dust that was clogging my fans! i was able to remove the one of the left fan but i can't access the right fan. is there a way to remove the back panel without disabling the whole comp?

man i hope there's no permanent damage :(

are you talking the one that comes out the side or rear? if you are talking about the side blowing fan theat is the GPU and that only appears for a full tare down..............

but on another note, just to clearify the fans suck air up from underneath my notebook and blows air out from the sides and top right? or vise versa.
