I was troubleshooting some issues I had with my newest laptop, a sager 8760, and I swapped (more like jerry rigged) the intel 5100 wireless card into the 8760 where it worked, but a problem occurred when I tried to put said card back into the 7801. It'll bring up the wireless graphic on the toolbar, but it won't recognize any signal anymore. I did the troubleshoot and it's telling me that I need to turn the wireless on, but it is on! I've tried fn+f2 and it's still not showing anything up. When i put the 5100 back into the 8760 it'll work in there, but not in my 7801...

Anyone have any idea what I can do?

also to note, that I have a spare 6100 and that doesn't want to work, I just found that in my other laptop (the 8760 came with a 6100 also, but that one doesn't work in any of my laptops...) it seems that it has the same issue as the 5100.

Yeah, I even pried it open to make sure that the switch was to the left in the on position. It just sort of seems that it doesn't recognize the antenna, it see's the card, it's just not using it I guess you could say.

In both slots. I treated it like a and it still doesn't want to work. I'm half tempted to just reload windows onto it and see if it'll work then.
