    Progams and Programs x86 on 708u

    Why is it setup this way or is it just mine? If i install on x86 it doesn't show up in the start menu.. is up w/ this?

    btw i meant to post 7805u.. sorry long flight and very exhausted

    Because you have Vista X64... programs that run natively in 64 bit are installed to Program Files and those which need to be run in an X86 environment go to Program Files (X86).

    its that way because of 64 bit programs (your regular program files folder) and 32 bit programs (the program files x86 folder).

    the 7805 comes with vista 64 bit operating system installed, so until all programs become 64 bit programs (at which time i'd expect to see no more 32 bit OSs) you will see those 2 folders.

    Thanks for the reply guys!! First time on a 64bit OS so that came off to me as odd.
