I just got an old FTP Server program I used 10 years ago, just got it so I could set an FTP up for someone who wanted the gateway Recovery, I would recommend Serv-U. Its GUI is clean and took me 10 minutes to setup a Secure FTP, anyhow here's link below, Anyone interested in serving files to friends or family or even FTP servers, this is program you want to check out.

I seem to go back to Auslogic for speed but all defrag is slower in Vista 64 (maybe all Vista) it seems to me.

I'm trying to like Defraggler but it feels slowest of all but I think it defrags files Auslogic ignores so may be the reason.

JK64 works ... don't know what it is doing besides turning red and green ... kinda Christmasy ... sort of a seasonal defragger. It just cranks away without hassle.

It reverts to "personal edition" after 30 days. What does that mean?
OK here is the difference. So downloading the personal now.
Hey, I set it up and it seems great. I can use this baby. Thanks.

I'm trying LastPass and liking it so far. Web storage for passwords and form fills. Extension works well with Firefox.

I Use Serv-U Personal, as I dont need more then 2 connecting to my FTP Since majority i am on a wireless connection my best connection is around 18MB/S but generally 1-2 people connected to my FTP get around 800 to 3MB/S speed download off me.

I can't see having 100 people connected to an FTP, or even corporate mode.

Misconduct, that's quite a connection. People are downloading from you @ 800kb/s up to 3MB/s? Who is your provider? That's not Cox Communications :p

Naw, turns out my old as hell ATI 9600 was just that. old and ready to move on to the next realm of computer deadness. I just poped a nvidia 6600 in and havn't had an issue yet, we will see what happens in the long haul but, it's been running in windows for 15 minutes, and i'm still going strong.

Tampa Bay, Florida - Yes It kicks major rear, I get 20MBPS up and down, and literally get around 19.50 mbps all time day or night.

My laptop being on wireless-N because of the 7811 gets around 1-5 mbps depending what I am doing.

I use to have Brighthouse cable (local cable $ stealers) and they advertised 20mbps yet best download I ever get was 3 download and 800k/s upload..

Its better then most I seen, but FiOS is reason i switched and 10 minutes of testing it, I switched and signed on for a year. thats only thing that sucks, you sign on a contract, but who am I to complain? :)

I think 2 progs that have not been mentioned yet are CuteFTP and FreeDownloadManager...
I also have Active File Recovery but haven't had much success in restoring deleted files...
Open video joiner for mkv's and Subtitle Workshop is a must-have for subs! Does EVERYTHING (and with ease too)!

EDIT! KMplayer has embedded codecs (but I still prefer other solutions :p) and I use TVUplayer and rarely TVants for internet tv! However I am not very pleased so far, so if anybody has any apps or websites for FREE internet tv (mainly european sports events) please post them!
Didn't anyone mention Nero or stuff from Cyberlink or (even better) mixMeister and Pinnacle Studio?!!!!

Any chance you can edit this post and describe the programs slightly? I am curious to work on overclocking my 9800 slightly.
